Alaska Coastal Brown Bear AH14 $18,000
Long time outfitter with three different areas - GMU 8, 9, and 10. GMU 8 – Spring brown bear hunts conducted from fly in tent camps. Bears cruise the beach and streams looking for fish and seaweed to eat. Hunters can hunt in the spring or fall by drawing a permit. GMU 9 – This area is home to the largest concentration of brown bears in Alaska. Terrain is marine influenced with open tundra. Open for brown bear hunting one season a year - fall hunts odd years, spring hunts even years. GMU 10 – Island hunt offers some of the best brown bear hunting in Alaska in both opportunity and size of trophy animals. Spring hunts from camps close to the ocean with twenty hours of daylight. Permit only.

Alaska Peninsula Bear AH12/AF19 $18,500
Hunt three different areas with this outfitter for trophy brown bear. Springs hunts take place in Cold Bay and also near Iliamna. They operate their fall hunts near Iliamna, as well as Port Heiden. Most brown bear are taken less than 2 miles from spike camps. Spring hunting is more physically demanding than fall hunting. Depending on the year (even or odd) Unit 9 is set up on a odd year fall season and an even year spring season, to ensure trophy brown bear management. Spring season on even years, starts May 10th and ends May 25th and fall season starts October 1st and ends October 25th.

Southeastern Alaska Bear AH6 $16,500
This outfitter is based out of Cordova, which is on the eastern side of Prince William Sound. Their early spring and late fall hunts are geared toward trophy brown bears. The spring hunts are combined with black bear and the timing allows for premium hide quality. The hunts are ten days in duration, which allows time to find a large bear. In the fall hunt, many bears are seen and the success is quite high. A moose combination can be done as well.
